Hi Birders.
Bill Yeates sent me this photo that he took at South Llano State Park and is wondering what it was. I am not too sure, so I thought I would post it here. I thank Bill for sending it. He also sent the
lower photo of a Gray Catbird that I will show also. Nice shooting Bill. As for the first one, Jim Miller thought it was possibly an Eastern Phoebe. That family of flycatchers is still a little confusing to me, so I am not going to stick my neck out. What say?? Can anyone have an answer??
Yes, that was the consensus of most everybody. Thanks for your input. I hope you will visit again. I will check all of your photos later.

Thanks for the ID. Both of them were firsts for me.

I have yet to see my first Gray Catbird.
Looks like an Eastern Phoebe to me too.
Thanks, Dave, for your input. My gut feeling was that it was an Eastern Phoebe, but I still don’t have that overall confidence yet.
