During the past few weeks, I was only able to get out for only a few short birding stints. However, I did compile from those little trips, a few new photos. The migration hasn’t begun down here yet, so I am seeing mostly just the usual resident birds. These images show you a few of what we have here during the summer. Enjoy and click on any image to see enlargements.

Thank you very much, Syl. I appreciate you kind words. 🙂
That great blue heron with the fish is a great catch! 😉
Yeah, that was a pretty neat thing to see. I wish he could have been a bit closer. Thanks, Amy. 🙂
As usual, I enjoy seeing the variety of birds that you come across. wishing you good health.
Thank you very much, Jane.
Just beautiful photographs. Several of those birds are not easy to get either. I don’t know if I’ve every really seen the yellow bill on the cuckoo that well. Thanks for the treat! 🙂
Thanks, Lisa. I believe that we have seen more Yellow-billed Cuckoos this year than we have seen in the past five years.
Lucky you! 🙂
Always had a soft spot in my heart for the Roadrunners…. Must stem back to my childhood watching Wylie Coyote and the Roadrunner.
Whoops, ment Wile E. Coyote…..
Thanks for the comment, Gene. Beep! Beep! 🙂
As always, love your photos, Bob. I think the Nighthawk is my favorite.
Thanks, Judy. I was lucky to catch that nighthawk in the open.
I have yet to see one of those guys! Maybe soon…
Nice collection!
Thank you very much.
