It has been a hectic year for me. That is the reason for the time lapse since my last post. Health problems, three stays in the hospital, etc. But all is well again, and I am looking forward to a great year in 2019.
That is not to say that I haven’t been trying to get out in the field to get photos. I made several short forays to the local parks whenever I had the chance. Here is a cute little Ruby-crowned Kinglet that I captured several weeks ago. They are tiny, flighty birds that are continually on the move. I was lucky to catch him with is red crown showing.

I also found the time to write another photo book. It is titled “My World of Nature”. a 54 page soft-cover edition, of some of my best work.Regular price is 40.99 + shipping. But for you, my readers, the price is 35.00 plus 7.00 shipping, a total of 42.00. It is doing so well that I had to order a second shipment. If you would like an autographed copy, e-mail me at bobzeller@pobox.com., for more information on how to get one.
I am not into making resolutions for the new year. I usually forget about them by the morning after New Years Day. But, since my health is back to normal, I am feeling rejuvenated. I hope to get back to posting here on a more regular basis.
Another photo from a recent trip to San Angelo State Park. A little Merlin. I don’t know if he is tapping his foot, or leading an orchestra.

Friendly Merlin
That’s all for this post. I wish all of you readers that are still with me, a very Happy New Year.
